Meridia's technology makes a connection
Article Abstract:
Meridia Interactive Information Services is offering a conferencing system, called RSVP, that enables participants of conferences and meetings to partake more effectively. The system has wireless keypads the size of a paperback, through which participants could voice out opinions and ask or answer questions. Each keypad contains two-way radio that sends a signal to antennas placed around a room, then computers tabulate and display the results. Among the strongest benefits of RSVP is determining immediately by the number of replies whether the audience is interested.
