Labor problems hurting business, two airlines say

US Airways, which is the major carrier at Philadelphia International Airport, and Northwest Airlines are being hurt by labor unrest among their unionized flight attendants. The two airlines, which are under a strike threat by the Association of Flight Attendants, have been fighting with the flight attendants union over a new contract.

Pilots say they'll fly more for less pay
Article Abstract:
The United States Airways' pilots have come up with a proposal wherein they would work for 10 percent more hours a month at a 12.5 percent reduction in pay for a period of four years. This proposal was presented in order to assist the airline in its cost-cutting efforts and assist the airline in its survival.
