The involvement of the Port of Greater Baton Rouge in the classification of Pointe Sunshine in Ascension Parish as a port megasite ready for industrial development is investigated by the ethics board of Louisiana. Charles Thibaut, a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Port Commission, is also part of the family corporation owning Pointe Sunshine.
