Sherry and Waylan Johnson owners of La Vie magazine filed a lawsuit against Michael Paul former editor of the magazine for misrepresenting market demand for publication and its operation costs. Paul allegedly ripped off LaVie magazine by $15,000 by going into unauthorized business with advertisers on the magazine's behalf in exchange for goods and services that he personally consumed. Baton Rouge lost population mea sured in terms of television viewers having 317,500 viewers in 2007 compared to 322,540 in 2006 , while New O rleans experienced a significant increase of television viewers with 567,000 viewers.
