Manager of SEPTA funds is indicted

The president and chief investment officer of Albriond Capital Management, which manages SEPTA's pension funds, was indicted by a U.S. grand jury for 11 counts of fraud, bribery and other charges. Alan B. Bond, who oversees over $600 million in investments, was accused of allegedly taking over $6.9 million in kickbacks to finance a lavish lifestyle.
