PGW seeks approval to reduce its gas rates

Philadelphia, Penn.-based Philadelphia Gas Works Co. has filed a request to reduce its natural gas rates with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. The rate cut proposal by Philadelphia Gas Works, which is a city-owned supplier of natural gas, would reduce the typical residential consumer's gas bill by about $110 annually.
