Assistant District Attorney, Ann Donnelly a Manhattan prosecutor in March 2004 assured the jury that the two former executives of Tyco International Ltd. were on trial as they stole hundreds of millions of dollars from the company. The two former executives were accused of looting Tyco International of $600 million to finance baronial lifestyles and to fund pet investments.

Pa. pays millions in hedge fund fees

The four hedge fund pickers hired by the Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System have collected more than 50 cents in fees for every dollar they made for the state pension plan in the year 2003. The hedge funds are supposed to profit modestly but steadily, whether the stock market rises or falls.
