Rite Aid is selling its PCS business

Camp Hill, Penn.-based Rite Aid Corp., which has debt of $6.6 billion, has announced it will sell its PCS Health Systems division to Irvine, Texas-based Advance Paradigm Inc. for $1 billion. Rite Aid, which is a nationwide drug store chain, will keep PCS real estate that is valued at approximately $70 million.

Rite Aid's loss grew during its 2d quarter
