Contact lens firm to pay for deception
Article Abstract:
New Brunswick, NJ-based Johnson and Johnson will pay as much as $860 million to settle a 1996 case related to its Acuvue disposable contact lens product. Industry analysts estimated that consumers needlessly paid $1.1 billion on the contact lenses due to a misleading advertising campaign.
