Article Abstract:
The selection of Philadelphia for the next Republican National Convention has sent local neighborhoods and counties scrambling for convention business. Scouts for the convention are searching for key sites, such as hotels and restaurants, to recommend to the convention's estimated 45,000 pariticipants.

Dutch ING Group seeks to set up area bank

Amsterdam, Netherlands-based ING Group has petitioned the federal Office of Thrift Supervision to open a Wilmington-based branch office. The new bank will target the Philadelphia area through a telephone and Internet marketing plan.
