Former board members of Walt Disney Co., Stanley P. Gold and Roy E. Disney want Michael D. Eisner to resign as chairman and chief executive officer on the grounds of mismanaging the company, especially the stock price and creativity. Their campaign for Eisner's ouster and the possible outcome of the shareholders' meeting on March 3, 2004 is discussed.

The hearing on the future of the financially troubled Barnes Foundation opens in Montgomery County Orphans' Court on 21 September 2004. The relocation of the art collection of the Barnes Foundation to Philadelphia would set right its budget but the move would be against founder Albert Barnes' wishes.
