Vlasic continues its string of losses

Vlasic Foods International Inc. posted its fourth consecutive quarter of lower sales and another quarterly loss. This is the company's seventh in ten quarters since it was spun off from Campbell Soup Co. in 1998. Vlasic revealed that it will receive a loan of up to $17.5 million from the Dorance family to help pay its day-to-day bills.
