WJBO's tower of power
Article Abstract:
The Federal Communications Commission granted WJBO-AM a construction permit to build a new transmitter tower, which will allow it to triple its power during daytime. The station currently broadcasts at 5,000 watts but will be upgrading to 15,000 watts once the tower has been completed. WJBR-FM and KDDK-FM are two new stations added to the Baton Rouge area.
