FastShip Inc., the Philadelphia company that had struggled to launch a high-speed transatlantic cargo service for a long time, has a team of powerful strategic partners and a plan that might work. The majority of the initial financing for the plan might come from companies that hope to make money building, equipping, fuelling and using the next-generation ships that would be the centerpiece of the service.
