Arcade smells sales growth in its Scent Seal acquisition

Article Abstract:

Arcade Inc., the pioneer and world leader in scent sampling products, has acquired Scent Seal Inc. Arcade revolutionized the marketing of fragrances by developing the ScentStrip, the first pull-apart fragrance samplers which are inserted in magazines for convenient and cost-efficient consumer sampling. Arcade ran into problems when some of the seals of the ScentStrips broke, provoking complaints from consumers and competing marketers. Scent Seal manufactures a liquid fragrance sampler based on patented transdermal drug delivery system technology to allow wet sampling of fragrances.
