Article Abstract:

An outline of what an effective fraud contingency response plan (FCRP) should comprise of, and how it should be put together is presented, thus providing clear guidance on what should be done when a fraud is discovered. A FCRP is a set of documented procedures that has the explicit approval of top management, sets out the policy of the company regarding fraud, is well known by everybody who needs to know, and describes duties of every individual involved.
