BAE Systems Product could be added to thousands of aircraft

Article Abstract:

BAE Systems have developed a new upgrade system FAST (flexible access secure transfer) to the MIDS (multifunctional information distribution systems) terminals, which gives the aircraft real time or ad hoc capability, helps in cost saving and planning and also it is relatively easy to equip. FAST is designed to work with communication protocols like Link 16, enables to pass fairly large files or high resolution image files quickly and is a low latency system.

New technology saves military corrosion-fix money

A new-technology device is developed to solve a multi-billion-dollar problem for military services by saving money needed for other programs. The device is a combination of speed and noninvasiveness that is able to make an image of objects beneath the surface of the subject.
