Border game: results of our global I.D. card competition
Article Abstract:
I.D. launched a Global I.D. Card Competition that was an investigation through design of what it meant to be a citizen of the world. The participants were asked to concoct a global identification card for themselves based on existing materials and technology and Bryan Boyer's winning design forgoes photos and statistics in favor of short-hand notes describing the card holder's past, present and future destinations.

Milan's famous Furniture Fair has been moved to a new location, more than half an hour from center of the town and it is designed by Roman architect Massimiliano Fuskas over huge acres of urban land. The furniture enthusiasts would find this long journey worthwhile because gets to see furniture and upholstery of world class designs and different makes under one roof one.

Fran Reed is an award-winning fiber artist who lives in Anchorage, Alaska, and was working with fish skins since 1986, even writing a paper on traditional fish-skin garments for the British Museum. Her expertise is in the area of making fine baskets out of fish skin and she also conducts workshops to keep the craft alive.
