Albinterferon alpha-2b: a genetic fusion protein for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C
Article Abstract:
The scientific and clinical assumptions behind the development of the human albumin-fusion platform for the treatment of individuals with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) are discussed. The effectiveness of the technology with reference to the alb-IFN, the genetic fusion product of human albumin and IFN-alpha2b is discussed.
