Emap: market frets at Emap exit
Article Abstract:
David Arculus is to leave his post as managing director at EMAP and the announcement of this move led to a drop in the company's share price. Arculus is to move to United News and Media where he will be chief operating officer. Some analysts are concerned about the amount of power which the chief executive, Robin Miller, will have after Arculus leaves. Arculus has had responsibility for strategy at EMAP. Some analysts believe the extent of the share price fall has been an overreaction.
