Bargain-hunters should be wary of stock issues of integrated circuit maker IMP Inc. At the time prices rose from $3 in Jun. 1995 to its May highs, eight insiders sold a total of 1,186,200 shares at $17-$23. Chmn. Barry Carrington disposed of 659,956 shares at $17.44-$22 while Dir. Peter Olson sold a total of 78,333 shares. Vice Pres. Charles Isherwood and Officer George Rassam sold 100% of their common shares and options they exercised.

Eight insiders disposed of 184,750 shares from Nov 6, 1992 to Jan 26, 1993 at the $17.75 to $25 level. The sales escalated in Jan 1993 when four of the insiders accounted for more than 50% of the distribution.
