Regular business travel is often regarded as a business perk, but the potential health and safety risks of this type of frequent travel may outweigh the advantages. Conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which are exacerbated by the inertia of long-distance travel and result in the formation of blood clots in the lower legs, can be life-threatening.
