Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co., Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $5,079,693 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-97-C-4001 for reactor plant planning yard services for nuclear powered submarines and submersibles. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.
