To meet marketing goals, companies must refocus overseas priorities
Article Abstract:
Business enterprises planning for a global marketing push should address the needs of their employees and customers in order to succeed. First and foremost, they should instill a customer-oriented philosophy among their own employees. To achieve this customer focus, employees and their families should enjoy certain benefits to make their relocation worthwhile. For example, management should ensure that the children of marketing executives have the opportunities for good education and recreation while providing a safe working environment for ordinary laborers.

Value easier to see when converted into dollars, cents
Article Abstract:
Business enterprises that market their products and services must measure the value of delivering these products and services in terms of dollars and cents. The effectivity of marketing activities and efforts is best measured in terms of the financial results they generate. Businesses which adopt a financial yardstick to gauge the effectivity of products/services marketing efforts can more effectively communicate their objectives to personnel.
