Merger talks reach climax
Article Abstract:
Ruling councils of the ICAEW, CIMA, and CIPFA will be meeting to decide on proposals regarding merging of the three bodies into one super-institute. Several concerns will have to be addressed and resolved before a final agreement is reached in favor of the merger.

The opinions of the ICAEW members from across the UK on institute's proposed integration with CIPFA is presented. Most of members intend to vote in favor of consolidation as they see various benefits of it while some are opposed to the proposal.
