Article Abstract:
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) most frequently comes up in the careers of the FTSE 100 finance directors, having some connection with the firm during their training or career, and some of them see their alumni firm auditing their company. Auditor changes in the FTSE 100 is a rare event, although there were three changes from the 2005 survey such as ITV being solely audited by KPMG, BAA choosing PwC over Deloitte, and Deloitte bagging the Severn Trent audit from PwC.
