Interest rate and liquidity risk management and the european money supply process
Article Abstract:
Research information regarding the consequences for the money supply process and the conduct of monetary policy is given. The paper gives a model to show how banks respond when future monetary policy is expected to get tighter and more uncertain.

Scale economies and cost complementarities in commercial banks: On-and off-balance-sheet activities
Article Abstract:
This article investigates the tremendous growth of banks' off-balance-sheet activities and their effects on bank costs. It concludes that their cost is minuscule, especially when deposits are included in the output specification, and have little effect on the economies of scale measures.
