Tolleson enjoys venturing into projects without the support of a client budget as is evidenced by his perfume bottles, which eventually earned him a commission from a furniture manufacturer. Tolleson's clients include Fox River and Asyst Technologies.

Secrets of motion

Article Abstract:

Research from the University of California in Berkeley's Poly-PEDAL laboratory is influencing the development of a whole generation of robots. The lab studies insect motion especially the motion of arthropods, which include crabs, scorpions, centipedes, millepedes and cockroaches, and are any one of more than one million species of invertebrates with segmented bodies, jointed limbs and external skeletons.
