Pep transfer funds are offered by some fund managers to provide Pep investors the opportunity to consolidate their Pep holdings into one investment. The transfer market is becoming more active and is likely to become more attractive as the end of the Pep era approaches. No further funds can be contributed to Pep accounts after 05 April and the concept of transferring less coherent Pep portfolios into a single managed fund, makings increasing sense.

Self select Peps are flexible investments enabling investors to choose their own stocks. They typically provide the facilities to invest in convertibles, preference shares, equities, investment trusts, corporate bonds, unit trusts, Eurobonds, European shares and cash. Investors with existing plans with other Pep providers, can move to a self select plan manager, although transfers can be expensive.
