Traditional or electronic tools: how do people get hired?
Article Abstract:
New methods used in recruiting and hiring new employees make use of the Internet. Web sites with job postings and resumes can be accessed by job applicants and recruitment officers. Most employers use both the high-technology and traditional methods of recruiting. They place importance on the quality of resumes not the method used in submission. Job fairs and networking are the more popular sources of applicants.
