A new integrated method for characterizing surface energy heterogeneity from a single adsorption isotherm
Article Abstract:
An integrated strategy from a single adsorption isotherm is presented to characterize surface energy heterogeneity of fine particles. The strategy constructs a correspondence between derived adsorption energy distributions (AEDs) and different patches of real surface, so it will be more effective to understand surface heterogeneity by using the adsorption probe method.

Approximate analytical expressions for the electrokinetic flow of a general electrolyte solution in a planar slit comprising dissimilar surfaces
Article Abstract:
The electrokinetic equations are solved analytically for the case of a general electrolyte solution flow through a planar slit comprising two planar, parallel surfaces, which can have different charged conditions. Electrokinetic phenomena are the flow of an electrolyte solution in a microchannel, which is influenced by electroosmotic flow.
