Anhydrous polyproline helices and globules
Article Abstract:
Ion mobility/time-of-flight measurements and molecular modeling simulations are employed to investigate the gas-phase conformations of a series of polyproline ions that are obtained by electrospraying aqueous and propanol solutions. Molecular dynamics simulations are used to explore the structures of the ions.

Magic number clusters of serine in the gas phase
Article Abstract:
Proposals of structures for the magic number serine cluster [8(Ser)+H](super +) have led to investigation of the configuration directly using ion mobility and molecular modeling techniques. It is demonstrated that the serine octamer is a fundamental unit in the assembly of large clusters.

Formation of nanometer-scale serine clusters by sonic spray
Article Abstract:
Ion mobility and mass spectrometry techniques have been used to study clusters of serine formed by sonic spray ionization. Evidence for some chiroselectivity in larger clusters is presented.
