Average correlation functions of hard convex body mixtures
Article Abstract:
The modification of the Ornstein-Zernike (OZ) equation for mixtures is computed and numerically solved for binary mixtures of hard spheres (HS) or hard spheres and hard prolate spherocylinders (HPS) with length-to-breadth ratio gamma = 2.0. In the case of binary mixtures of hard spheres, the proposed theoretical method is found to be in agreement with Monte Carlo data.

Surface dilational modulus or Gibbs' elasticity of protein adsorption layers
Article Abstract:
Measured values of the surface dilational modulus or Gibbs' elasticity can be described satisfactorily by means of a theoretical model that assumes that adsorbed protein molecules can exist in multiple conformations with different molecular areas.
