Carboxy SNARF-4F as a fluorescent pH probe for ensemble and fluorescence correlation spectroscopies
Article Abstract:
The optical spectroscopic properties of carboxy SNARF-4F, which is a commercial promising fluorescent pH probe, is investigated in buffered aqueous solutions by steady state and time resolved spectroscopy. This behavior of SNARF-4F makes it a unique fluorescent sensor that measures pH by combining the advantages of wavelength ratiometric and fluorescence decay time measurements.

Femtosecond fluorescence dynamics imaging using a fluorescence up-conversion microscope
Article Abstract:
Femtosecond fluorescence dynamics images were constructed based on the 'mean' fluorescence decay or rise time constants that were evaluated by the time-resolved intensity sampling using fluorescence up-conversion microscope. This type of dynamics imaging microscopy can be considered to be a powerful method in visualizing the material based on the ultrafast dynamics.

Evidence of tautomerism in 2-aminopurine from fluorescence lifetime measurements
Article Abstract:
The fluorescence decay characteristics of 2-aminopurine (2AP) and 2-aminopurine riboside (2APr) were investigated as a function of excitation wavelength in aqueous and ethanolic solutions. Global analysis of the decay data showed that 2AP existed as two emitting species, whereas 2APr existed as a single species.
