Characterization of counterion and surface influence on micelle formation using tapping mode atomic force microscopy in air
Article Abstract:
Tapping mode atomic force microscopy (TM-AFM) experiments are conducted in air for imaging cylindrical micelles deposited randomly on gold surfaces in the presence of parachlorobenzoate counterion. The result showed the ability of the ionic surfactant-based micellar structures to maintain their morphological characteristics after the complete evaporation of water.

Fabrication of ordered catalytically active nanoparticles derived from block copolymer micelle template for controllable synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes
Article Abstract:
The use of block copolymer micelle approach to produce various transition metal nanoparticles such as iron, cobalt, and nickel with precisely controlled size and spacing is described. The uniformly sized catalyst nanoparticles derived from the block copolymer micelle approach has enabled the synthesis of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) with narrow size distribution.

Complex microstructures of amphiphilic diblock copolymer in dilute solution
Article Abstract:
The complex microstructures assembled by amphiphillic diblock copolymer in dilute solution are investigated by the application of real-space self-consistent field theory in two-dimensional space. The preliminary results in two-dimensional space show that the vesicle is metastable.
