The body-centered cubic structure of methyl lithium tetramer crystal: Staggered methyl conformation by electrostatic stabilization via intratetramer multipolarization

Article Abstract:

The methyllithium tetramer [(C[H.sub.3]Li]).sub.4] structure in the bcc crystal is theoretically optimized with the use of density functional theory calculations under the periodic boundary condition. It is concluded that the staggered form is advantageous in crystal, as a whole due to be larger electrostatic stabilization through the induced intratetramer multipolarization.

Effect of energy disorder in interfacial kinetics of dye-sensitized solar cells with organic hole transport material

Article Abstract:

The kinetic rates for dye regeneration in dye-sensitized solar cells with organic solid hole conductors is described. The experimental results show that the energy disorder implies a broadening of the efficiency of hole transfer with respect to the thermodynamic driving force.
