Dependence of conductivity on the interplay of structure and polymer dynamics in a composite polymer electrolyte
Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to study the conductivity and transport properties of a composite polymer by comparing the structure and dynamics as a function of both salt and organic-inorganic composite content. The system consisted of poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO), an organic-inorganic composite (OIC) prepared from aluminum tri-sec-butoxide and [(3-glycidyloxy)propyl]trimethoxysilane (GLYMO) and lithium triflate (LiCF3SO3).

Structural factors of rigid-coil polymer pairs influencing their self-assembly in common solvent
Article Abstract:
The study investigates factors in the structure of rigid and coil polymer pairs that influence their self-assembly in solution. The results show a common trend that the hydrodynamic radius of the assembled hollow spheres decreases with the increasing ratio of the rigid proton-donating polymer to the flexible proton-accepting polymer.

Capillary length in a fluid-fluid demixed colloid-polymer mixture
Article Abstract:
The measurements of the interfacial profile close to a vertical wall in a fluid-fluid demixed colloid-polymer mixture are reported and laser scanning confocal microscopy is used to measure this profile. The capillary lengths vary between 5 and 50 (mu)m for different statepoints approaching the binodal.
