Effective screening length of isotropic liquid samples submitted to an applied voltage
Article Abstract:
The effective screening length and the counter potential due to the ionic redistribution, when the cell of liquid is submitted to an external electric field, is investigated. The numerical procedure has helped in obtaining an effective solution for the profile of the electrical potential across the sample.

Tight binding of the electronic response of a molecular device to an applied voltage
Article Abstract:
A self-consistent tight binding (TB) method to study the response of molecules to an electric field is presented. The study concluded that the self-consistent TB technique is a promising approach to study the transport properties in a molecular device and that it may be applied to a wide range of systems.

Effect of frequency on insulin response to electric field stress
Article Abstract:
The response of proteins to external stress such as an electric field that is a potent inducer of structural changes in the protein is investigated. The application of an oscillating electric field of different frequencies to insulin chain-B shows a frequency-dependent behavior of the peptide.
