Electromagnetic coupling in near-field scattering by small homogeneous and heterogeneous nanoaggregates
Article Abstract:
The influence of coupling effects between constituents of system in near-field microscopy is studied in view of developed classical model of electromagnetic scattering from spherical nanoparticles. The study reveals the optical behavior of the spherical nanoparticles numerically, taking into account the electromagnetic coupling between all particles and the apertureless tip.

Oligothiophene bipyridine alternate copolymers and their ruthenium metalated analogues: In situ ESR and UV-vis investigations of metal-chain interactions
Article Abstract:
In situ electron spin resonance (ESR) and UV -vis spectro-electrochemical studies are performed on two copolymers. The observation of a clear polaronic band in the UV-vis spectrum of p-doped 2,2'-bipyridine and its strong dependence on the applied potential can be clearly correlated with the potential induced changes in the ESR spin density.

Structure-property relationships for electron-vibrational coupling in conjugated organic oligomeric systems
Article Abstract:
The electron-vibrational coupling for the oligomeric systems is examined and is found to behave in a well-defined manner with increased conjugation length. The Stokes shift can be correlated with chain length and number of calculated and vibrational mode.
