Fractal nanochannels as the basis of the ionic transport in Agl-based glasses
Article Abstract:
A new model is proposed to explain the transport properties of Agl-based fast ion conducting glasses. The nature of glass network, and namely its connectivity and dimensionality, plays a significant role only for iodine/oxygen values, originating the transport and thermal anomalies observed in borate and phosphate glasses.

Time-resolved infrared dynamics of C-F bond activation by a tungsten metal-carbonyl
Article Abstract:
The intramolecular C-F bond activation of a tungsten carbonyl system is studied by time-resolved infrared spectroscopy. The use of time-resolved infrared spectroscopy of the CO stretches monitors the formation of solvent complexes and the final product.
