Linear chain and network polymerization during pressure upstep and downstep by real-time dielectrometry
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted on chemical reactions during the polymerization of a liquid. In particular, the experiment investigated the polymerization of four diepoxide-amine liquid mixtures under isothermal conditions using the dielectric measurements technique. In two cases, the step-polymerization leads to the formation of linear chains and in the other two, the step-polymerization leads to a network structure. Experimental methods and results are analyzed.

Product inhibition
Article Abstract:
A stochastic model of an allosterically product-inhibited enzymic reaction was investigated theoretically. Results showed synchronized turnover cycles of individual enzymes are possible during enzymatic reaction in micrometer and submicrometer reaction volumes. This mutual synchronization is due to interactions between different enzymes resulting from fast moving inhibitor molecules and is accompanied by rapid oscillations in the reaction product.
