Molecular conformations of protonated dipropylamine in AIPO(sub 4)-11, AIPO(sub 4)-31, SAPO-34, and AIPO(sub 4)-41 molecular sieves

Article Abstract:

The host-guest interactions in aluminophospahate (AIPO)(sub 4)-11, AIPO(sub 4)-31, SAPO-34, and AIPO(sub 4)-41 molecular sieves prepared using the same organic structure-directing agent, dipropylamine, are investigated by a combination of Raman, (super 13)C and (super 1)H MAS NMR, and computer modeling studies. It was found that the organic molecules trapped withing the pores of these four AIPO(super 4)-based materials exist as their protonated form and adopt distinct conformations in order to fit well with the pore structure of each host.

Structure-Activity relationship in HC-SCR of NO2 by TEM, O2-chemisorption, and EDXS study of Ag/Al2O3

Article Abstract:

The difference in mean particle sizes (MPS), particle size distribution and dispersion for four fresh Ag/Al2O3 catalysts with different metal loadings were determined by means of HRTEM, high angle annular dark field (HAADF), O2-chemisorption and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDXS). The MPS values determined by HRTEM resulted in increasing MPS value with increasing metal loading as expected.
