Chalcogenide distribution in microporous layered Tin(IV) thioselenide, TMA2Sn3SxSe7-x, materials
Article Abstract:
Chalcogenide distribution was established following the synthesis and analysis of 15 ternary microporous layered tin(IV) thioselenide, TMA2Sn3SxSe7-x, materials. A microporous layered lattice is produced by the arrangement of six broken-cube clusters into a planar honeycomb layer of 24-atom rings in parallel combination. The distribution is statistically defined across unit cells and exhibits site selection for trigonal bipyramids.

Single-phase PrOy-ZrO2 materials and their oxygen storage capacity: a comparison with single-phase CeO2-ZrO2, PrOy-CeO2, and PrOy-ZrO2 materials
Article Abstract:
Single-phase PrOy-ZrO2 and PrOy-CeO2-ZrO2 materials crystallized in the cubic fluorite structure and prepared using sol-gel processing are studied. Lattice constant and reducibility measurements show the existence of preferred associations leading to PrOy-ZrO2 and CeO2-ZrO2 instead of PrOy-CeO2 in the ternary mixed oxide. The oxygen storage capacity of PrOy-ZrO2 materials increase nonlinearly with PrOy concentrations over 25 mol %.
