Structure and activity of carbon-supported Pt-Co electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction
Article Abstract:
Three preparation methods of carbon-supported Pt85Co15 electrocatalysts were tested and the best result in terms of activity for ORR and degree of alloying was obtained by preparing the electrocatalyst with the alloying method. The method was used to prepare Pt-Co/C in different ratios and it was found that the best composition was Pt:Co=75:25.

Emission Processes in YVO4:EU nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
The luminescence properties of colloidal YVO4: Eu nanoparticles are investigated and compared to those of the bulk materials. The findings state that nanoparticles exhibit structural distortions directly related to the small size of the particles.

Synthesis and characterization of monodisperse doped ZnS nanospheres with enhanced thermal stability
Article Abstract:
A solvothermal method is used to synthesize the monodisperse ZnS nanospheres, with an average diameter of 100 nm. An investigation on the coating of ZnS nanospheres by a thin shell of SiO2 or TiO2 using sol-gel process is reported.
