XAS and XRD structural characterization of lanthanum-modified PbTiO3 ceramic materials
Article Abstract:
X-ray absorption spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction experiments are carried out to probe the short- and long-range order in lanthanum-modified PbTiO3 ceramic materials for x ranging from 0 to 30 atom percent of La. the analysis of extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectra shows a decrease in the local disorder around Ti atoms as the content of La increases.

Surface diffusion of potassium coadsorbed with CO on Ru(001): A coverage grating-optical second harmonic diffraction study
Article Abstract:
Coverage grating-optical second harmonic diffraction method is used to study the effect of coadsorbed CO on potassium surface diffusion on Ru(001). Surface diffusion of potassium is investigated in the presence of CO coadsorbate.
