Tuning the carrier injection efficiency for organic light-emitting diodes

Article Abstract:

A new study demonstrates that hole transport from an indium tin oxide anode to N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-(2-naphthyl)-(1,1'-phenyl)-4,4'-diamine is injection-limited and that the hole injection efficiency reduces progressively in line with the systematic increase of the copper phthalocyanine interlayer thickness.

Phase-type gratings formed by photochemical phase transition of polymer azobenzene liquid crystals: enhancement of diffraction efficiency by spatial modulation of molecular alignment

Article Abstract:

Issues concerning an exploration of the formation of phase-type gratings in PM6AB2 films and the phase-type grating found to be formed in polymer azobenzene liquid crystal are discussed.
