Water-soluble hollow nanospheres as potential drug carriers
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to characterize water-soluble hollow nanospheres as possible drug carriers. The Brookhaven model 9025 instrument was utilized to carry out light scattering studies. A home-built equipment was utilized to spray the nanospheres in a solvent with carbon-coated copper grids. Experimental results indicated that the rhodamine B release could be altered by changing the composition of water and ethanol mixtures.

Response of ferrogels subjected to an ac magnetic field
Article Abstract:
A perturbation approach is used to investigate nonlinear alternating current (ac) responses of ferrogels under an ac magnetic field either coupled with a direct current (dc) magnetic field or not. The results have shown that it is possible to detect the volume fraction and shape of particles in ferrogels by measuring such ac responses.
