Wetting transition of water on graphite and other surfaces
Article Abstract:
The value of the wetting temperature, T(sub w), at which the transition should occur for water on solid surface like graphite is identified. A simple model that is found reliable for spherical adsorbates and nonpolar fluids, is used to predict the value of the wetting temperature as a function of the well depth, D, of the adsorption potential.

Decomposition of CO-Hr over graphite nanofiber-supported iron and iron-copper catalysts
Article Abstract:
The effect on the catalytic behavior of iron and iron-copper induced by supporting the particles on 'platelet' graphite nanofibers is investigated. For the purpose of comparison, a corresponding set of experiments was carried out where metal and bimetallic particles were dispersed on silica, a traditional support material.
