Dynamics of water in [Na.sub.x]Co[O.sub.2.]y[H.sub.2]O
Article Abstract:
Incoherent inelastic neutron scattering (IINS) measurements are used for directly probing the dynamics of the intercalated water in the hydrated superconducting (SC) [Na.sub.x]Co[O.sub.2.]y[H.sub.2]O. The results have shown that the sodium ions do not affect the rotational dynamics of the fast water molecules at room temperature.

Structure and dynamics of L-selenomethionine in the solid state
Article Abstract:
A systematic study of the thermal processes in L-selenomethionine (L-SeMet) crystals using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and variable temperature (VT) solid-state NMR techniques is described. Attempt to explain the mechanism of phase transition of crystals of 1 at 313K is presented.
