Antiaromaticity in open-shell cyclopropenyl to cycloheptatrienyl cations, anions, free radicals, and radical ions
Article Abstract:
The authors review the concept of antiaromaticity in cyclic conjugated organic molecules. The major studies on the cationic, anionic and free radical conjugated cyclic hydrocarbons that do not contain the Huckel pi-electrons have been summarized and discussed.

Sigma-pi energy separation in modern electronic theory for ground states of conjugated systems
Article Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to review the modern methods of sigma-pi separation. The methods devised for the semiempirical and ab initio all-electron calculations at the self-consistent field molecular orbital levels, correlated molecular orbital levels and valence bond levels have been analyzed and discussed.
